Tea tree oil

Tea tree oil in the cleanser is a popular choice for treating breakouts because of its anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial properties. It’s thought to calm redness, swelling, and inflammation. It even helps to prevent and reduce acne scars, leaving you with smoother, clear skin. The antiseptic properties of tea tree oil contribute to its ability to combat oily skin.

AHA/BHA

The amazing toner within the set is using a set of AHA and BHA acids. How will it improve your skin and help you keep your pores clearer?

Alpha-hydroxy acid (or AHA) works on the surface of the skin so dead skin cells can be easily removed, making way for a softer and smoother surface. This particular toner contains glycolic acid which has gentle exfoliating properties. It does not penetrate deep below the surface of the skin. Still, it reduces acne scars and dark spots.

Beta-hydroxy acids (or BHAs) are oil soluble. This toner is using betaine salicylate which is much more gentle on the skin compared to other BHAs. Because it’s oil-soluble it can penetrate beneath the skin’s surface, cleaning out excess sebum from the pores and reducing oiliness. It is perfect for blemish-prone skin.

Birch juice extract (Birch Sap) is packed with amazing nutrients such as amino acids, vitamins, minerals, proteins.
