PURITO Centella Unscented Recovery Cream is an unscented, essential oil-free Centella Asiatica (CICA) cream.

The Centella Asiatica Extract (50%) soothes and relieves the irritated skin keeping skin radiant and healthy. Centella Asiatica is a hero ingredient best-known for its wound-healing abilities. So-called €œtiger grass€ from the legend that tigers would roll around over this grass to heal wounds. CICA soothes and reduces skin inflammation.

In addition, the cream contains Asiaticoside, Asiatic Acid, Madecassic Acid, and Ceramide, which help strengthen the skin barrier preventing the evaporation of moisture inside the skin. Especially Ceramide NP is a mild ingredient that does not cause skin irritation due to its structure similar to skin lipid. It strengthens the skin barrier and fends off external stimuli. It also keeps skin hydrated by sealing in moisture, preventing evaporation of skin moisture, and maintaining the healthy balance of oil and water. Moreover, Squalane prevents the evaporation of moisture from the skin and soothes its texture.

It is non-irritating, making it great for people with all skin types including sensitive skin. This cream is gently absorbed deep into the skin to control its oil-water balance for a longer time. It will not leave any white residue and therefore can be used on dark skin tones.

    Really nice on Sensitive skin

    I have sensitive and reactive skin with rosacea. Dry cheeks and a slightly oily t-zone. I have been using this as a PM moisturiser over my niacinamide serum and/or granactive retinoid emulsion. In my opinion it goes on nicely, it is very thick and occlusive, yet a small amount is fine for my face, neck and chest. It is not sticky but has a dewy touch and though unscented it has no unpleasant 'product smell' from the ingredients. I find that in the morning my skin feels soft and still like it has a thin veil of product locking in moisture. So far I am enjoying this product and will continue to use it as my PM moisturiser.

    I used this and the Centella Unscented Serum to calm my skin after over-exfoliating and it worked a treat, my skin loves them both. I use the serum in my AM routine and the cream as the last step of my PM routine and my skin wakes up happy and moisturised.

    I’ve been using this as a night cream and it makes my skin feel so buttery and soft when I wake up. It’s been a real help in repairing my moisture barrier and a little goes a long way! I love this cream and I will 100% be repurchasing!!!
