Here is the second part of our interview with Tony Kim, Global Sale Team Manager. This time we focused on skincare tips and upcoming trends in K-beauty.
Karolina: Tony, let’s talk about
Tony: To have young skin, they take care of them since their young.
Karolina: How do a Korean skincare regime and the products differ from a Western skincare regime?
Tony: Overseas, people use basic skin care products such as moisturizing, in Korea consumers use high-function products which can manage skin health and prevent skin ageing with elasticity and lifting.
Karolina: What are two skin care products that you need to have?
Tony: Special ampoules and essences for managing skin elasticity and lifting.
Karolina: If you were asked to give one advice on skincare, what would it be?
Tony: Western people have more solid bone structure and stronger features compared to Asians. However, they have complex to thin layer skin, drooping skin and double chin. Keeping skin moisturized is important but at the same time elasticity and lifting is important to prevent signs of ageing.
Karolina: What is the most rising trend in Korea for skin care?
